As practitioner and designer I enjoy very much the effect of nice compositions. The roses and lavender are blooming always together. My rose name is Leonardo Da Vinci and has excellent features. It is resistant to rain, which is considerable in Eifel region and preserves long when cut and put into the vase. I planted it on my terrace 10 year ago. By the way the rose was purchased in the rose center of Daniel Schmitz in Malmedy.
In the Eifel region lavender is in full bloom end of June and continue thorough entire July. Together with Leonardo Da VInci creates extraordinary colorful picture.

When you remove regularly the old flowers during the blooming period, cutting off the flower above the second leave, and you fertilize the rose in July again you will enjoy the second full blossom in September-October. It is really wonderful!
Once you let the branches grow long and you cut only half length you can shape the rose into the wide bush.
